first_imgKenan Cadette hospitalized after he was struck by a car on Sunday nightA thirty-for (34) year old Laudat man who resides at Goodwill is nursing injuries at the Princess Margaret Hospital after he was struck by a vehicle on Sunday night. Police public relations officer, Inspector Claude Weekes confirmed that Kenan Cadette, 33, of 40 Goodwill Road was struck by a Mazda car registration number PA847 while crossing the Pottersville public road from east to west on Sunday 5 July 2015.The car was being driven by Craime Blanchard, 34, of Bena Ravine, Canefield. “He [Kenan Cadette] got struck by the car. He sustained serious bodily injuries particularly to the head and the ribs. He was transported to the Accident and Emergency Department there he was examined and now he is a patient at the Princess Margaret Hospital. The car itself was very badly damaged and the police continue examinations,” Weekes said. According to the Police PRO, the driver sustained minor injuries, particularly around the area of his eye and his left arm.
