By Greg AregoniLUXEMBURG, Wis. (Aug. 19) – Jamie Suchocki won his first IMCA Sunoco Stock Car feature of the season Friday at Luxemburg Speedway.Rick Dix started up front and took the top spot for the opening two laps. Suchocki ran from position six to the front by lap three. Suchocki ran right through the middle of the speedway while everyone else ran the top and bottom. The seas parted for Suchocki on his way to the front and the veteran was never tested.Dylan Heilmann followed Suchocki to the front but once they got there he was never able to make a run at the leader. Troy Muench started coming forward but a flat tire would diminish the point leader’s race win hopes and hand the point lead over to Shawn Havel.Suchocki maintained a six-to-eight car lead at all times on his way to victory lane. Heilmann finished second. Brett Wenzel prevailed in the late-race battle for third over Kyle Frederick and Billy Lemieux in a race that never saw a caution flag.Shawn Kilgore came from row six and a mid-race triple threat to pick up his third IMCA Modified win of the season at Luxemburg.J.J. Anderson came out of a “B” feature, started 16th and led the last three circuits in winning his first Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod main event since opening night.Regular season champions and Chase champions will be crowned Friday, Aug. 26.
