WHITTIER – About 1,155 Southern California Edison customers were left in the dark Tuesday after tree trimmers dropped a branch on a power line at Mulberry Drive and Scott Avenue. As of 9:24 a.m, 381 customers were still without power, according to Edison spokeswoman Vanessa McGrady.
